I remember seeing Devdas and fell in love with Suchitra Sen's Paro. There was a grace and class about the lady that was mesmezising. Like most Bengali women, she had lovely eyes and came across as cultured and refined. There was also intelligence and intensity in the performances. I remember Aandhi too, which was equally captivating. Rest in Peace Madam and Thank you for some memorable movie moments.

Discovering Albert Lamorisse.

 This started with an introduction made by a friend on Facebook. His best known work is the short film The Red Balloon (1956), which earned him the Palme d'Or Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, and an Oscar for writing the best original screenplay in 1956.
